Infrastructure Repair

While the streetscape improvements implemented in DUMBO have vastly enhanced the quality of life, the behind the scenes work for infrastructure repairs may be less apparent. Belgian block restoration remains our top priority, and we will continue to lobby city agencies for the much needed restorations and capital improvements to our streets. The Dumbo Improvement District is also working to secure additional street lighting to ensure that the neighborhood is adequately lit. Additionally, we will continue to lobby the MTA to include the York and High Street subway stations in their 2010 – 2014 capital plans for full station rehabilitations.
